Back on the Farm is a collection of essays written for Eric’s weekly column at the time, Down on the Farm, run in small town newspapers in northwestern Minnesota and North Dakota. Written while Eric was running the Bergeson Nursery in Fertile, Minnesota, in this his third book, Eric focuses on ventures away from home, from travels to places as far-flung as London, Paris, Summerhaven, AZ, New York City or the skies over Greenland, down to seemingly simple trips to town for a meeting or a half-gallon of milk.
